With listings and images for over 650 species, you can be sure to identify that fish you have just caught! There is also detailed additional information for many species including size range, description, distribution, habitat, life cycle, diet, sport and eating qualities, and most importantly - fishing tips and rigs! Every state is included - NSW, ACT, VIC, QLD, SA, WA, TAS and NT. Every species that has any fishing regulations is here, (nearly) all with photos, so you can be confident that you are fishing within the states laws. You can directly search for a fish from the scroll list, or swipe from fish to fish to quickly find what youve just caught. Few fish missing, especially from the NT. Needs an update, but otherwise can identify most fish.
Nice app but desperately needs updateing. Some very outdated info. Not good when fishing inspector arrives! For example is the snapper info correct for SA? Or did I miss it in my fishery haste?
Thanks to the developers for this app. They have done a fine job. I also like the precautions described to some fish.
